The large, light open plan living space boasts floor-to-ceiling feature windows and bi-folding doors that open onto a glorious decking area, perched above the stream.The cathedral city of Truro is just a 20-minute drive away, where you will find local shops, a cinema, theatre, and a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and pubs. There are regular markets and a variety of entertainment throughout the year. The area is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to many famous National Trust Properties including Lanhydrock.Close by is the Roseland Peninsula and picturesque St Mawes harbour, where small ferry services operate daily across to the bustling town and port of Falmouth. The two castles built by Henry VIII, Pendennis Castle at Falmouth and St Mawes Castle, are both open daily and run by English Heritage. You can also visit the famous Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. There are lots of activities to do nearby including fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing or simply swimming from one of the many beautiful quiet beaches and coves dotted around the area. The local village of Probus also offers convenient local shops, pubs and restaurants. At Truro railway station, you can hop on a train to Falmouth, St Ives, Newquay or Penzance. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
