A lovely stay in a secluded location with beautiful views which is what we wanted. Good amenities relatively nearby in Pocklington. Cottage clean and warm but could do with some updating as some of furniture looking rather tired. Microwave base needs attention and some pans in cupboard were dirty and old didn't look very hygienic. Main area of concern is in wet room off main bedroom where water did not drain away so floor remained wet and slippery all day which was inconvenient . We would however return as we had a relaxed weekend break and really did not want to leave. Thank You

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Owner is very helpful. Not recommended for long term stay due to sparse mobile and internet coverage.

This is a lovely spot for a get away from it all holiday. It is several miles from shops, cafes, pubs, etc. but for us that's just ideal. Fantastic view from the back of the house over the Vale of York and some wonderful walking/cycling country right on the doorstep.

Low Callis Granary was a very comfortable and relaxing cottage. Cottage was very well kept and the owner lives locally should you have any issues which we did not. Cottage advert was as described. It is a very rural location, you do need a car when you get there. The village of Pocklingon about 6 miles away has an excellent array of shops. If you like watching wildlife this is a great location. Location is ideal for touring the Yorkshire coastline and York itself. Safe and reasonably priced parking in York is available on Piccadilly almost in the city centre. We would definitely want to stay there again.
