This detached barn conversion, accessed by unmade track, is situated on the owners’ smallholding but maintains your privacy. Located not far from Dartington Hall and Staverton Woods, which at certain times is covered in bluebells, Love Barn has been loving restored to offer a holiday cottage for a family or for friends to get together. The property is very eco-friendly, offering passive solar gain and a wood burner, and is insulated to retain heat. The first part of the drive is shared with neighbours at The Apricot Centre which is a a bio dynamic, permaculture farm, with chickens and two cows. There are plenty of opportunities to hear the birds sing and it is surrounded by wildlife.

The South Devon Railway is a 10-minute walk from the property, and The River Dart is also close by. The A38 is a 15-minute drive which will take you to Dartmoor National Park and Plymouth, where you will find the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe. Exeter is also within easy reach with its vast cathedral. Cycling, horse riding, swimming and golf are all available locally, as well as many National Trust properties waiting to be explored. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
