2 Longmoor Cottages is located on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds village of Ebrington, enjoying a wonderful countryside location, in a natural and peaceful setting, boasting stunning views over Longmoor. Accessed down a long, private driveway, this attached, character, barn conversion has been finished to an excellent standard, boasting period features including exposed stone walls and original beams, together with a contemporary twist, and externally the owner’s grounds can also be enjoyed, which lay claim to wild flower meadows, picnic areas and an orchard. With walks from the doorstep, this really is a magical retreat in which to relax and unwind. A welcome pack is also provided upon your arrival with complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, biscuits, wine and a selection of savoury snacks. Why not cook up a tasty treat in the well-equipped kitchen/dining room and enjoy your meal in the relaxed seating area whilst enjoying views over the private garden. The galleried living room offers a blend of traditional and contemporary with modern fixtures and feature beams and overlooks the surrounding gardens and countryside.
Ebrington is a quintessential, typical English Cotswolds village with honey stone buildings and thatched roofs, and the delightful historic parish church of St. Eadburgh’s, dating from the 13th century, is a 10-15 minute walk away with regular Sunday services. There is an outstanding farm shop, providing fresh local seasonal fruit and vegetables, and a warm welcome. The farm shop includes a café serving light lunches, snacks, afternoon teas and barista coffee and is just a 20-25 minute walk away. The village also boasts an award-winning local pub, which is a modern day version of a country tavern, that brews its own ale. The pub’s restaurant has two AA Rosettes and serves delicious pub classics in addition to seasonal fare. Just a 20-minute walk away is a superbly located hotel and restaurant with commanding views over rolling countryside, which serves lunches, afternoon teas, and elegant dining in the AA Rosette restaurant.

Just 2 miles away Chipping Campden, one of the Cotswolds’ loveliest market towns, offers interesting shops and a wide choice of restaurants. Broadway, 6 miles away, is home to unique shops, designer boutiques and superb art galleries, as well as a tower offering one of England’s finest viewpoints with 13 English counties to be seen on a clear day. Many National Trust properties are nearby including Hidcote and its impressive gardens, only 2 miles away. Slightly further, but still easily accessible are Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, and the famous horse racing town of Cheltenham. Golf can also be enjoyed locally. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

These properties have a security deposit of £100 per person when two or three properties are booked together.

    Just spent an excellent New Year’s Break at Number 2 with friends. Fully support the other reviews that complement the property in terms of its cleanliness, facilities, how immaculate it is and the welcome from the hosts who are excellent. A considerable amount of thought as gone into the detail within the property and any minor negative observations would really be nit picking and unfair. The description within the booking web sites accurately reflects the property. Well placed for walks or visits to a number of lovely Cotswold's villages or what is a short easy walk to a very pleasant traditional pub in the local village. Fully recommended, excellent.

    The holiday cottage was immaculately presented,outside was visually in keeping with the area but modern and up to date inside,a real home from home. Ideally situated for the local pub for drinks and food and for some good walks of the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning.

    The cottage was lovely - immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and with very comfortable beds. Peaceful and quiet location with good walks from the doorstep and an abundance of wildlife - deer, squirrels and birds. Very well equipped and the welcome pack was excellent. Thanks Teri and Jim - we had a great holiday.

    Wow there are so many things to say about this amazing property, Beautifull, Super Clean, Welcome pack amazing, amenities incredible, owners utterly delightfull, in 4 years of staying in self cattering this is by far the best property we have stayed the attention to detail is incredible lovely lovely property and I have already booked for next july I would give it much more than 10/10 for sure many many thanks to Terri and Jim for providing a unique beautifull property xx

    Had a lovely week. Cottage very well equipped. Beds extremely comfy and bathrooms very spacious. Along a long drive so very isolated but lovely and quiet. Our only concern was the settles and chairs weren’t high enough backed for us but that’s just a personal observation.
