This is a wonderful little cottage in a beautiful location. You can look out onto the Loch Lomond through the conservatory windows. There are quite a lot things to do nearby. And the cottage has everything you need. I can just recommend it.

Lovely cottage, clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a week away. Comfy sofa and bed. Wonderful location for walks along loch shore or up Conic Hill. Easy parking. Would recommend. Really nice to arrive to some local gifts and bottle of wine.

We passed through Balmaha when walking the WHW and loved it so much we visited again after our trip was over. That was in 2015 and we always said we’d go back to stay. I booked Lomond View Cottage for the location which is close to the pub/ cafe/ shop. It is off the main road so is quiet but is still close to the amenities. The cottage itself is lovely and welcoming with a spacious sitting room and conservatory. I was initially worried that it would be cold as the heating is electric plug in convection heaters but it was lovely and warm despite it being a cold Easter. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. There was even a few bits to start us off, the owner obviously cares about the occupiers. You can park right outside the door. We had no problems whilst there and would definitely stay again - there are an abundance of holiday accommodation being set up in Balmaha but none such good value. If I was looking for less than perfect comments it would be the shower which was adequate but not excellent and the fact that the cottage didn’t seem to have its name anywhere outside and so was initially a bit tricky to find from the road, especially as it had gone dark - if you get to the pub you have gone too far.

Cottage was ideal for us. The only negative I have, is mattresses on beds need replacing as they bottom out when you lie on them.
