The property has excellent road links to celebrate the whole county. Norwich city boasts a wealth of attractions including a stunning cathedral and churches, numerous museums, a splendid Norman castle, galleries, and a range of theatres too, including a quirky and much celebrated puppet theatre. The city also plays host to lots of festivals and events throughout the year including comedy nights, a Lord Mayor’s procession, dramatic firework displays over the stunning castle, a well-established Pride event and popular nightlife. Shopaholics will find a great range of indoor and outdoor high street shopping and an award-winning market, packed with boutique and artisan cafés, shops and restaurants. Foodies will also be spoilt for choice with every taste and budget catered for, from chain favourites to chic one offs, many of which serve local produce. There is a mainline railway station serving local seaside resorts and further afield destinations. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches are within 20 miles and include everything from the traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, to the quieter seaside resorts of Sea Palling, Horsey, and Winterton on Sea. For fun-filled family days out head to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, Reedham offers Pettitt’s Animal Adventure Park, BeWILDerwood at Horning, and Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade. There are plenty of National Trust properties to explore, including Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park, and three heritage railways: The North Norfolk Railway, The Mid Norfolk Railway, and the Bure Valley Railway. The Norfolk Broads National Park has 125 miles of inland waterways which is best explored by boat, daily boat hire and river trips are available. Wroxham, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, 8½ miles, offers riverside shops, cafés, restaurants, railway station, model village and boat hire.
