The dining area has a lovely wooden dining table and chairs and there are comfortable sofas in the living area for enjoying the panoramic view whilst relaxing. At the back of the site is the Great Glen Way, which is the coast-to-coast route for walkers and cyclists which goes from Fort William to Inverness along the banks of the Caledonian Canal, including Loch Ness. There is access to Loch Oich and a water sports company on-site and the Inver Garry railway museum and working engine is just behind the site. Fort Augustus, a charming village which sits at the bottom of Loch Ness, is only 8 miles away. For ski-ng the Nevis Range is about a 30-minute drive.
