A wonderful cottage in a stunning location. The area is remote and most people will visit for exactly that reason so the limited local facilities should not deter them. The upside is the fabulous surroundings, the wildlife and the stunning night sky.

The cottage is set on lovely grounds, lake views and hills. Very spacious. We had an awesome time ... not having Wi-Fi and phone access was the best part! Quality time spent with family and friends. Would definitely go back again.

A lovely cottage in an amazing location. We all found it to comfortable and warm. My daughter's loved the wildlife in the garden. We saw lots of birds, badgers, deer, pigs and had sheep visit one morning. The boat was fun and the loch beautiful. We all had a wonderful time and there so much to do we will defiantly be back.

My wife and I spent a week at this cottage in the first week in October, the view from the cottage is absolutely fantastic, we had a few visitors throughout the week i.e. badgers deer and a pine martin. Achmelvich beach is a must to visit with it's beautiful white sands and can be reached on foot in about 30 mins or a 5 min drive. Lochinver is about 10 min drive with a pub and a couple of restaurants, can definitely recommend Peets with it's choice of seafood dishes being absolutely delicious. For a relaxing holiday and sightseeing this would be an excellent choice, if your looking for shops pubs and clubs forget it. The only minor fault we had was a slight problem with the heating but the owners managed to fix it temporally and I'm sure it would be sorted by now.
