Thank you we had a lovely stay at Hen Dy with our 2 teenage sons. The cottage was a brilliant find being tucked off the beaten track but the directions provided were excellent. It was great to have a garden, stream and nearby cycle path to safely explore on foot. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for a week’s stay. You do have to be mindful of the low ceilings especially when climbing the stairs but that was part of the charm of such a unique property! The owners were welcoming and helpful, with a booklet of information provided in the cottage to help us choose the best days out for us in the beautiful local area.

Comfortable and small, but perfectly adequate for 4 people. However, insufficient hot water for 4 people to have a bath after a long day hiking, a shower would've been simpler, and the owner's new dog was rather a nuisance barking whenever we stepped outside. Despite everything we had a great week.
