We had a wonderful time, the place was peaceful and clean, it could do with updating as the furnishings are looking tired .

Lovely holiday because of its good position and amenities close by. We were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the cottage particularly the floors.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Perhaps these guests did not realise that the floors in the living areas of Little Woodley are actually distressed wood lookalike, with saw marks and knots etc. and in the bedroom and bathroom the terracotta tiles also have a distressed finish. Both these finishes are contrived to create a certain look, in keeping with the fact it is a barn conversion. Rest assured the cottage is always thoroughly cleaned and no amount of scrubbing would remove these effects. We strived to create a vintage feel within the cottage and are dismayed that this desired look has been misunderstood.
