This property is part of our Cottages4you collection

In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Walk the South West Coastal Path, and explore the many seaside towns and villages from this coastal holiday property.

Little Trevean is a small hamlet of three stone barns lovingly converted and each with their own private hot tub (refs 29436, 29437 and 29438). Adjacent to the owners’ home, they are set in a peaceful rural location overlooking gardens and fields to the sea beyond. The area is popular with walkers, as the barns are just a short walk from the South West Coastal Path leading to a number of picturesque small beaches and coves including Prussia Cove and Perranuthnoe. The properties are just a few minutes drive to the historical town of Marazion, with tea rooms, art galleries, curiosity/craft shops and St Michaels Mount rising from the sea which can be reached at low tide on foot or high tide by small boat. The beautiful, long, white sandy beach of Mounts Bay is perfect for an afternoon stroll, sun bathing, swimming or kite surfing. It is just a 20-minute drive to the beach at Sennen, which is famous for its wild ocean and surfing. Visit the quaint fishing harbour of Newlyn and the picturesque village of Mousehole, legendary Lands End or the Minack open air theatre, cut in to the rock face with the ocean as backdrop. The busy town and harbour of Penzance with its long promenade and Lido is close by, or take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by sea from Penzance or small aircraft from Lands End Airport. A 30-minute drive away is South Cornwall, with its tranquil sailing waters and the busy port of Falmouth, which is home to the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Visit the stunning Helford River and creeks which are popular for sailing, fishing or simply relaxing. The area has an abundance of tropical gardens to visit, including Trebah, Durgan, close to the Helford River, and Trelissike, just outside Truro. Within easy reach of the rugged North Coast, which is popular with surfers, with long beaches and sand dunes of Hayle and the pretty harbour and beaches of St Ives. Horse riding and golf nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant ½ mile. Refs 29436, 29437, 29438 and 27491 (located ¼ mile up the lane) can be booked together to accommodate up to 14 guests.

Just returned from the stable after an amazing week. Location excellent for beautiful coastal walks, only 1/4 mile away. Hosts were lovely, always on hand if you needed anything or advice on where to go. Place very comfortable and hot tub a welcome bonus after 8 mile hikes along the coast! Would definitely recommend to other couples looking for a chilled week away to explore the beautiful coastline nearby! Will definitely return 😊

We loved staying here. Ian and Dawn (the owners) were so helpful and friendly. The dogs were lovely. The hot tub was great!!! Loved sitting under the stars in the bubbles. They had thought of everything, with a selection of books, games and DVDs available. There was also everything you needed in the kitchen. Really lovely place to stay and get away from everything, but not far from local amenities if needed.

This was our second stay at The Stable. Again it was superbly presented with everything you could need. Ian and Dawn were perfect hosts as always and full of helpful tips and knowledge. The cottage is a stones throw away from the coastal path, which is really lovely and it is also within easy access of all of south Cornwall. The Hot tub is a fantastic bonus after a long day walking the coastal paths. We would highly recommend the Stable to any couples. Our dog also loved being there.

We stayed at the stable from 15th - 22nd Sept 2018 and we did not want to travel back home :( If you are wanting to experience a wonderful holiday in beautiful Cornwall then this is the place for you. We have stayed at Little Trevean Farm for 3 years in row now and have stayed in the Loft and this year the stable and will definitely be returning next year too. The accommodation is 1st Class, the location is superb and the owners Ian & Dawn are so welcoming and friendly and are at hand if you require anything at all, we truly had a wonderful time and our holiday experience was once again second to none :)

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub was lovely..... One thing we were dissapointed with was that the garden/grass area was separate from the cottage about 20 feet away which isn't shown on the photos and as we have 2 small dogs we were expecting them to beable to be let out straight into the garden. Also the owners 2 medium/large dogs were left to roam around which frightened one of our dogs because he has been attacked a couple of times... One of the dogs also came into the bedroom of the cottage one day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and visited lots of places and beaches. The lady who owned the property was very helpful about local places.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry to hear your response regarding the grassed area for dogs, originally we had no grassed area for this property as it is adjacent to the drive but a grassed area was made for this property to let occupants take their dogs out to relieve themselves, it is on the other side of the drive and I apologise if this isn’t clear in description. Also, our dogs are farm dogs and free range which hasn’t been a problem mentioned before, we are dog friendly hence we agreed to two dogs instead of the one dog for you. I’m sorry one of our dogs felt they should enter your property as they are never encouraged by us to do so. Thank you for your comments and I’m glad you enjoyed other aspects of your stay with us.
