Lovely cottage, enjoyed the location, but could have done with a small local shop and pub. It would have been nice to have been able to walk to a pub in the evenings. Other than that, really had a lovely week.

I had a lovely stay. The cottage is full of character and the pictures do not do it justice. It is excellent location with a lot of sites less than 1 hour away including Monkey World, Lulwoth Cove and Durdle Door. There is also amazing walks right on the door steps. Bridport is only 15 minutes drive, which has great shops. The garden was a good size for the dog. I can not wait to return. I have made some amazing memorys in a 300 year old cottage. Thank you for sharing your lovely cute cottage.

Been to this enchanting cottage many times. It is cosy and comfortable. Enjoyed the delicious Moore's biscuits. The wildlife in the garden is magical i.e. pheasants and rabbits. We recommend this to all ages. Look forward to going again.

Quaint little cottage, unfortunately the oven didn't appear to work but otherwise a stunning little property. Very peaceful in a beautiful area. I would defiantly book this again.

Lovely little cottage in a great location. The garden is superb - plenty of room for our golden retriever to run around in. The cottage itself was well equipped and clean. The only down side was the local pub - Hare and Hounds was closed until further notice. I would recommend the Pymore Inn though which was only a few minutes drive away. Very peaceful and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area - Lyme Regis and Weymouth always worth a visit.

The cottage was very well presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The location was excellent, very quiet and relaxing, a truly get away from it all place. It was everything that we wanted and more. The local area was great for walks and beaches.

Little Thatch is a beautiful small cottage with a nice garden in a lovely area of Dorset very close to the lovely town of Bridport. The steep narrow stairs that lead openly in the bedroom did not defeat us as a couple in our seventies. However the low door entrance to the cottage and some low sloping ceilings in the bedroom had to be carefully negotiated but one soon gets used to it. The cottage is dog friendly and our Cocker Spaniel enjoyed the garden. Some dogs might find the stairs difficult. We had a real enjoyable holiday and found the cottage a very useful base for exploring beautiful Dorset. Enjoyed the local friendly pub "Hare and Hounds" at Weytown, Netherbury. The beautiful local Church of England is close by cottage.

Tiny little cottage, as described it has a very low front door and limited headroom upstairs. Not particularly private, overlooked on both sides with windows. We went in December and it was warm enough once the heating had got going, but secondary double-glazing would have possibly made a big difference. Everything needed for the stay was supplied, including milk, teabags etc. Comfortable bed, with clean linen, more than enough cutlery, pots pans etc all in a nice clean state. The nearest pub is over a mile away in neighbouring village - the roads are very narrow and get extremely dark at night. Location is good for access to Bridport/West Bay. There are a couple of local footpaths heading off into the wilds but a car is understandably necessary for exploration further afield. We would definitely be happy to stay at Little Thatch again.
