Airy and bright, carefully looked after by friendly owner but also allowing privacy too- ideal combination. Great location, edge of Wool and by farm, so you feel right in the countryside but pub nearby, good Wi-Fi and easy access both to Wool for all the basics and to road network avoiding Wool constrictions for coast etc. Welcome tea tray much appreciated. Property description accurate - thank you! Photos make property seem smaller than it really is - classic "deceptively spacious" cottage- plenty of room for our family. Stairs to upstairs bedroom are wide but quite steep for anyone with mobility issues but easy access to twin room downstairs. Thoughtfully equipped - so nice to have a cottage where the lighting means you can read and not just watch TV! TV also had DVD slot which we appreciated. Allocated parking space just outside cottage on lane. We didn't need the owner's help but sure she would sort any issues. Great stay - many thanks. We will come again.

Lovely cottage but stairs steep so not suitable for people having difficulty climbing stairs. Had a lovely stay and would fully recommend.

We had a great short break here. The owners were very accommodating, especially with out two young sons. The property is clean, well presented and in a great location both for countryside walks and access to beaches and other tourist attractions

We will definitely be coming back to little cumbria. In fact we’ve already booked! Perfect accommodation to explore beautiful Dorset. Super dog friendly, especially the size and layout of the garden. We had a fantastic meal at the Seven Stars.

It was a much needed break for us, me, my wife and daughter, with our dog. We were able to relax and to see the places that we wanted to. The cottage was home from home. Very comfortable and clean. There was just a little noise from trains and farm traffic, but it did not bother us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was clean and well equipped. It was well positioned for our visit to The Tank museum. There was ample parking albeit outside the premises (not on the driveway). The owner had provided tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which was a welcome surprise after a 4 hour drive. The only negative was a bin in the bathroom would be advisable (especially as it’s on a septic tank) and some new larger towels
