For a relaxing and peaceful holiday look no further than Little Bran, with a river at the bottom of the garden and within the Cotswolds.

Discover this hidden gem in the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in between the villages of Aston Magna and Paxford. Take in the peaceful and tranquil settings of Little Bran whilst taking in the views of rolling hills and Knee Brook flowing at the bottom of the garden. An abundance of wildlife can be seen from the property including kingfishers, herons, ducks, moorhens, deer and pheasants. Inside this thoughtfully designed detached property, the discreet owners live next door, you can enjoy cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. The property has spacious double bedrooms, both with en-suites, one on the ground floor with a walk-in shower, and one being a unique galleried bedroom with wonderful views.
There are many walks from the cottage taking in the beautiful countryside, many leading to nearby pubs in the neighbouring villages. Chipping Campden, known for its elegant high street, is located 3 miles away, where you will find an array of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. Moreton-in-Marsh is only slightly further, 3½ miles, with many 18th-century inns and houses along the high street. There is plenty to see and explore in the area including two beautiful gardens; Hidcote Manor Garden, owned and managed by the National Trust, and Kiftsgate, in private ownership but open to the public. Also nearby are The Rollright Stones, Broadway Tower and the bustling village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Disappointed. No information book available. Didn't see the owners during our stay although we were informed by the workman who let us into the property that they lived next door. Dirty kitchen, dirty oven, stained cups ( we bought our own mugs for the duration of our holiday). Filthy bathroom mats and the most uncomfortable seating arrangement with a 70 year old having to sit on a beanbag to watch TV. We did like the modern interior - a pity about the above.

Brilliant cottage off the beaten track but within perfect reach of anything you need for a getaway. Finished to a very high standard, excellent property and very luxurious. Lovely welcome pack and spacious garden with off road parking and excellent sky tv and wifi, only slight issue being odd sofa making it slightly tricky to seat 4 adults comfortably we imagine (there were only 2 of us so can't say for sure!) other than that brilliant- thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful setting in peaceful hamlet. Be aware that cottage has no washing machine and has low, sprawling sofas which are uncomfortable and not easy to sit on.
