Situated at the foot of Butter Crags, Little Beeches enjoys a secluded courtyard setting with its neighbouring property, Beech Ghyll and is a gentle stroll from the centre of romantic Grasmere. The village has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops for you to sample throughout the day and into the evening and a good local bus service gives you the chance to explore the busier resorts of Keswick, Ambleside or Bowness, quite a contrast to the traditional rural feel of Grasmere. The award winning Michelin starred restaurant at Forest Side Hotel is also only ½ mile away.
Little Beeches offers neat yet comfortable accommodation for two (and your small dog) and is well equipped for a self catering break at any time of the year. The cosy living room has comfy seating arranged around the TV. The owners have provided a good selection of walking and guide books to help you plan your activities throughout the week. There is access to a sitting-out area reached by the garden steps with attractive mountain views.

A great walker's cottage for those with dogs. Comfy, warm and well-appointed for two plus a four-legged friend. Close to Grasmere, but not too close. Lots of walks on the door stop and quick and easy to reach Keswick, Ambleside and Windermere/Bowness, plus ferries, on the bus if you wish. The cottage is a little care-worm, but if you are out an about in the elements you don't want 5-star perfection anyway. To be recommended, we will be going back!
