It is always good to go back to Ash Cottage. Its location is peaceful, the farm’s ice creams are a must!! The scenery and walks are plentiful. Tarr Steps is worth a visit and Tarr Farm Inn - food is excellent. Liscombe farm is ideal we visited Woolacombe (surfing), Knightshayes Court (house and gardens) at Tiverton and Cleeve Abbey. We will definitely visit again!!

The cottage itself is very nice and well laid out. It is pretty remote with very narrow lanes. We never got to see the owner of the cottage. The dishwasher did not work and we got the impression that it had been broken down for some time. There were no toilet rolls supplied so it was lucky we took our own. One of the bath towels had very distinct stains on. There is no mobile phone service for quite some distance from the cottage.
