Lintie Cottage is a charming holiday home for four that’s ideal for exploring all that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer.

Ground Floor:
Living room: With electric fire, 32" Freeview TV and DVD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot available on request. Welcome pack.

Enclosed, lawned garden with courtyard, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.

Lintie Cottage is a delightful Galloway terraced cottage that offers a cosy interior and an enclosed garden with views over open farmland beyond. Situated in a quiet village, the cottage is a wonderful base, with all your homely comforts, from which to explore this lovely area. The garden is a real sun trap with its paved and secluded sitting-out area leading onto the lawn, a true delight for children and adults alike.

Whithorn, a former Royal Burgh, provides a variety of small shops, galleries, tea rooms and a pub. Exploring the area couldn’t be easier - a short 5-minute drive will take you to the Isle of Whithorn, where you can sail, fish or just sit in a tea room or restaurant overlooking the harbour. Why not visit Wigtown, with its many varied, quaint little bookshops?

Known for its dark skies, the Galloway Forest is within easy reach. The area is ideal for walkers, golfers and cyclists alike, with numerous golf courses, Glentrool, Kirroughtree and the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails. There is an abundance of fishing, bird watching, beautiful and exotic gardens, many rocky coves, sandy beaches and quaint villages to explore along the Machars Peninsula. There truly is something for everyone in this beautiful corner of southwest Scotland. Beach 3 miles. Shop 20 yards, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
