The whole family, including your beloved pet dog can enjoy a fabulous holiday on the Isle of Wight from your base in St Helens village, on the south east of the Isle of Wight.

This striking white-washed, semi-detached property is situated just a short walk from the village green in St Helens. It accommodates four guests in two bedrooms, and has a cosy living/dining room complete with wood burner and patio doors out to a small courtyard. It is particularly dog friendly with wooden floors throughout. St Helens is situated on the south east of the island sandwiched between the villages of Bembridge and Seaview. It has a small number of shops, a pub, restaurant and a short walk from the centre brings you to the dog friendly beach that the whole family can enjoy. At nearby Bembridge you can visit the harbour, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and where you can spend the day watching the boats arrive and depart on their journey around the island. Alternatively visit the RSPB site at Brading Marshes or enjoy one of the many walks along the beautiful beach. Ryde, 9 miles, is the largest town on the island and is a hub of activity. There are many shopping outlets, traditional amusements and a cinema to enjoy. The beach here has won awards and is a must for watersports enthusiasts, sun worshippers and energetic children keen to build sand castles or go rock pooling. Beach ¼ mile. Our second visit to the cottage. Lovely village location. Great food in local village pub.
