The location is ideal for exploring the attractions in Wiltshire and Somerset, including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor, the beautiful cathedral in Wells, Stourhead House and Gardens, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park. Just 15 minutes from the centre of Bath, where you can visit the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, the Royal Crescent, the abbey, or just enjoy the unique shops, cafés, galleries, museums and restaurants. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.

The only problem we had was four of us had to share the shower in one of the bedrooms as the shower over the bath in the other bedroom had no shower curtain or screen. I was in the bedroom nearest the other cottage and could hear everything they were saying and the little boy shouting. I thought it was a very cosy cottage and in a nice area. Would come back again if the shower situation was sorted.

This was my third stay in Dairy Cottage and I'm planning my fourth in the spring. It is so peaceful yet close to civilisation! It has lovely walks right from the cottage and it is cosy, warm and spotlessly clean. And to top it all, the owner is lovely and helpful too

Nice compact cottage. Offering an excellent base for an area rich in places to see, activities and beautiful countryside. Slightly let down by the lack of sharp knives to prepare vegetables, some cracked mugs and a poor potato peeler, but these were very minor niggles. Very reasonably priced, easily heated during the autumnal weather we experienced, our walking gear was soon dry and ready for the next adventure.

I would happily recommend staying at the Dairy. The owners are very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome. The accommodation is spotless and very well equipped. The weather was on the wet side but we still managed to walk into the village over the fields and my granddaughters loved seeing the horses every day.
