Lime Orn Cottage is ideally located for exploring the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This terraced holiday cottage is a great base for exploring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. It has quick transport links to the centre of Swindon and is only a short distance from attractions such as Avebury Stone Circle, the Ridgeway National Trail and the Cotswlds Water Park. Nearby, Royal Wooton Bassett is a picturesque market town which has retained much of its architectural heritage, and has many pubs, shops and amenities. The Cotswolds town of Malmesbury dates back to the 5th century and is named the ‘queen of the hilltop towns’ due to its location. Stonehenge, Bath, Bristol and Oxford are all within an hour’s drive, and if you are after shopping, then Swindon’s famous designer outlet at the former Great Wester Railway Works. There is a bus stop directly outside the house, providing great public transport links to Swindon town centre and Swindon train station (buses up to every 12 minutes). Shop and restaurant 300 yards, pub 20 yards.

A very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Welcoming and helpful owners live in neighbouring property. Convenient location - restaurant and supermarket nearby - and a short drive from the A419.

The property itself was clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable, our only points to raise are there are two lots of fairly steep stairs to climb to the living room/bathroom and bedroom areas which may not suit those with mobility issues. Also the parking space at the front of the property is adequate as stated for a small/medium car but it would have assisted with the information that the approach was severely restricted by roadside furniture which reduces its use.

This is a lovely cosy cottage which we stayed in from Friday to Sunday a couple of weeks ago, there is a really nice pub /restaurant about 10 minutes walk away where they serve delicious home cooked food. We made use of the log fire on both days but we both said that it's a shame it's in the dining room and not the cosy lounge upstairs which is our only negative really. The cottage has three floors so it probably wouldn't suit people who can't climb stairs easily. We would definetly reccomend this cottage.
