We had a lovely week in Portland. The house was well furnished and had all the equipment that we needed. The owners met us on arrival and gave useful information as well as a cake and bottle of wine! The area is well provided with activities for young children. An enjoyable holiday.

Very enjoyable, even rain and fog did not dampen our spirits. A peaceful, unspoilt place and some of the species of wild flowers I'd not seen before. The cottage had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The village was interesting and friendly as was the church up the road. Wish the stay had been longer!
