Very cosy, welcoming and relaxing. The cats had a lovely time and so did we.

unbeatable location, well equipped, considering it lets dogs stay there you would never know it. Although the owner may come over abrupt she is well meaning approachable and happy to solve any problem you may have. For instance we had no wifi for the first 2 days(this was resolved quickly) and the dvd player never worked. For us, the size of the cottage was acceptable but some may say cramped, but it was lovely to come home to in the evenings. Must mention the gang of squirrels which put on a dazzling display for us each morning along with the various birds.

It’s a lovely quiet area and it was one of the best holidays I’ve had, definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet small get away

The cottage was perfect for a short break in this area. It was warm enough and a cosy place on dark nights. The dog enjoyed his stay with lots of walks from the door and there was no need to worry about pale carpets as the wooden floor was practical.

We loved the location - lovely to be able to walk down the canal from the cottage, also many other walks from the doorstep. It's a shame the enclosed garden isn't round the house, especially when you have a dog. Very cosy and well organised for two people.

excellent situation for peace and quiet, loved watching the wild life, enjoyed walking along the canal towpath. an ideal spot for visiting Chester, Shrewsbury, Welshpool & Newtown - for the Robert Owen museum. Bala and Barmouth were within easy reach but we ran out of time!

Wonderful feeling of being miles from anywhere but actually not too far to visit nearby villages, small towns and attractions. Wildlife are relaxed enough to feed right outside the window. Beats television any day. Lovely walks along the canal.

A small, but very well equipped and well furnished/decorated cottage in a fantastic, peaceful location on the Llangollen canal, about a mile from the famous Pontcysylite aqueduct. It's actually between the aqueduct and the Cefn Viaduct across the same valley and has stunning views of the viaduct, valley and surrounding countryside. The owner was most helpful and this dog-friendly cottage was very clean. There was absolutely no problem whatsoever with the access road or parking at the property, so don't let other negative comments put you off!

The Cottage smelt strongly of dog and damp. Loads of spiders and webs and wood lice. I would not recommend this cottage to anyone until it has been sorted.
