These single-storey, semi-detached barn conversions (refs 30127 and 31299), adjacent to the owners’ home, are close to the north coast but also has easy access to tour the whole of Cornwall. A short drive or a good walk along the coastal path that runs close to the house will bring you to Crantock, a quaint village with its own golden beach. Newquay, with its surf and beach culture is close by, and has many restaurants, shops, a zoo, leisure centres, swimming and a working harbour, where you can take out to sea on one of the many fishing boats and hopefully catch the evening’s dinner. Watergate Bay is nearby, and Padstow, with many eateries, including Rick Stein’s restaurant and an excellent fish and chip shop, is a short drive along one of the most beautiful coast roads in the country. St Ives, Fowey, Falmouth, The Eden Project and many Natioinal Trust houses and gardens are all easily reached. Holywell, Porth Joke and Crantock beaches are all within walking distance. Beach ¾ mile. We had a fantastic week! Our host explained everything so well about the property and opportunities to explore the area. Treguth Inn about a 20 min gentle walk, Porth Joke beach about 25 mins, walks along the costal path and others ... We will definitely be back to explore what we couldn't take in this time. Would highly recommend for accommodation, location and friendliness!
