This property is part of our French Country Cottages collection

An inspiring collection of properties chosen for their character, luxury and heritage.

Just 27km away from the sea and the calanques of the Mediterranean coast, this property is nestled close to the pretty town of Salon-de-Provence.

At the foot of the typically Provençal village of Lançon-Provence, overlooking the Touloubre plain, this beautiful, large holiday home, with a air-conditioning, lovely shaded terrace and access to an outdoor swimming pool, which is shared with the discrete owners and located on the owners’ grounds, is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Its spacious interior with a contemporary style is bright, pleasant and friendly. There is ample space for a larger family or couples looking for adventure and friends wanting to spend their days by the pool.
Stroll through the streets of this old village and discover facades, doors, mansions and religious monuments. Les Baux-de-Provence is where guests can find the Castle of the Lords, an 11th-century fortress remain that visitors can wander round and enjoy. Small producers and craftsmen will introduce you to their know-how in viticulture, olive-growing or ironwork. Explore the Alpilles and their sublime and harmonious landscapes, or the Luberon and its natural regional park, as well as villages of Lourmarin and Gordes. On the Aix side, Montagne Sainte-Victoire awaits you, along with the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence, with its chic boutiques, wide streets and pretty fountains. Marseille is popular with its wild calanques, old harbour, Notre-Dame Basilica and eateries, perfect for a day’s adventure with your loved ones. Shop and restaurant 400m.

The cottage was clean and nicely presented however it was on the corner of a very busy main rd and was very noisy! We wrongly assumed by the description that the cottage was in the grounds of the owners garden and although we had read the owners were discreet we felt on some occasions we were in the way of the family also using the pool and garden. The inside of the cottage was modern and clean but the lack of outside space to use privately especially in the evenings was a problem. Dominique recommended places to visit in the surrounding area.
