The Charente and Charente Maritime have lots to offer in terms of interesting places to visit. Angoulême, the historic town of Cognac and the beautiful old roman town of Saintes are all within driving distance. A little further are the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Painting or sculpting classes can be arranged with local artists. Shop, café/bar and restaurant 3km.
