Lovely place to stay, with amazing views of the countryside. We visited Hastings, battle and some National trust properties. The double bed was really comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Loved it all. Great for walking and many places to visit. Highlight was a lovely family meal in The Horse and Cart in Peasmarsh.

We had four great days at the Shearing Shed. The home was extremely clean, modern and cosy. We loved coming "home" every evening!

What a lovely little cottage - so pretty and well equipped and in great condition. My one comment would be that the curtains are thin so we woke up at 5am (as my did my kids) every morning. Make sure you pack an eye mask! However I would definitely stay here again - so lovely. Thank you Penny

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review. In the twin bedroom, the curtains are A-lined, due to the size of the window, (more lining would be too bulky). The other bedroom has interlined curtains.

The Shearing Shed is a brilliant place to stay - cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the farmland and hills beyond. It was fun to be there during lambing season and we were welcomed into the shed to see the newest of the lambs! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable holiday and it is beautifully clean and well maintained.
