Pleasant accommodation completely spoiled by inadequate facilities, the worst of which being the hot water provision to the shower. We even supplied our own knives for toast! Dreadful oven and no oven gloves. A lost opportunity.

This little cottage is a wonderful spot to use as a base for exploring Normandy. We stayed for a week during early June at the height of the DDay celebrations in the region and it was the perfect spot to to strike out each day to visit all those key DDay landmarks. The cottage itself is very comfortable and had it not been for an issue with the hot water on a few of the days we were there, we would have scored it 10. Of course we were out most of the time during the day but when we were “at home” it really was like being at home. Our French hosts couldn’t speak a word of English and we couldn’t speak a word of French but that didn’t stop us learning that Jean-Claude’s father fought in the French Resistance and that he used to be a guide at a local WW2 museum. Google Translate helped ! This is a lovely little cottage, perfect for a couple or small family. We were two guys together exploring the history of DDay, and the two bedrooms were perfect for us. The little town of Le Sap had everything you could want or it was available in nearby locations. A great spot for a holiday.

Not the best cottage we have stayed at people were friendly and helpful. No English spoken. It may have satellite TV but the only channel in English is the God Channel. The cottage itself is OK . The area is very rural which is what we expected so not disappointed.
