This is an expensive holiday let, but you get what you pay for - everything is very high end and every last detail has been attended to in the renovation of a wonderful old house. The heated pool is impeccably clean and the children barely left it the whole week we were there. The only negative was that we couldn't get the larger of 2 ovens on the professional range to work, but the smaller oven saved the day and in any event, weather permitting, you'll want to be outside BBQing whenever you can. There isn't too much to do in Gournay-en-Bray, but the food shops (bakeries, butchers and greengrocers) are outstanding for a town of this size and if you're spending this much on your holiday home, you'll likely want to make the house the focus of your stay anyway. 3 generations of my family enjoyed the luxurious setting of this wonderful house - we will be back!
