We had a fantastic stay at the cottage and loved the feel of living in a lovely village for a week. The cottage itself was wonderful and I would absolutely stay there again. It was a lovely walk to the local beach in Porth and a longer but enjoyable walk to the beaches of nearby Newquay. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and the locals were very friendly.

We loved Lavender Cottage! It’s in the perfect location. We were able to walk to several places and not have to drive. Having your own personal parking space is great, but the parking is extremely tight! We got blocked in by customers of the club and had to go find them. That was inconvenient, but no biggie. The cottage itself is very cozy, warm and inviting. It’s bigger inside than we thought it would be. They had everything we needed and more...firewood, extra towels, dishes & kitchen utensils, tea and more. I loved having a shower, but it didn’t quite fit my 6’ 7” husband. That was a good laugh. Having a washer/dryer combo was fabulous. We have two kids and I did more laundry than I thought I would, but I was SO grateful I had that option. We definitely would stay again. It was our first trip to England and we had a great time. Thank you again for having us & for putting up a Christmas tree for us! My kids were so excited!
