This fabulous bell tent is located 2.5 miles from Abbeycwmhir in mid Wales. Set in 4 acres of the owner’s land with fabulous views of the rolling valley of Radnorshire and located on the edge of the Coes Sarnua Forest. This is the perfect place for those either wanting to explore the area on foot or bicycle or simply relax and take in the spectacular views and sounds that nature has to offer. There are wonderful scenic walks to be had from the bell tents along with cycling trails, take a walk down to the village of Abbeycwmhir which has ruins of a Cistercian abbey which was founded in 1176 and The Hall, an impressive country mansion with lovely gardens, both of which are open to the public. Route 25 will offer some great views and tracks for those cycling enthusiasts. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Elan Valley – superb walks to be had here and the Dams are a sight to see. For those wanting to travel a little further the Brecon Beacons National Park is approx. 45-minute drive, The Royal Welsh Showground is 16 miles and has events running throughout the year not to mention the Royal Welsh Show in July.
The bell tent has a single bed and a double pull-down bed (each with memory foam pillows), private shower and toilet, washing up area, internal wood burner, double gas hob, picnic bench, bistro table and chairs (indoors), bedside tables, solar lights (external), internal lamp powered by battery (no mains electric), battery for phone charging, no Wi-Fi (good EE 4G signal), washing up liquid, hand soap, bedding included (if dogs are staying guests will need to bring their own duvet or sleeping bag). Pillows, mattress protector and fitted sheet will be supplied. Logs and coal for the fire pit and BBQ can be purchased during your stay (advanced notice is ideal). There is no vehicle access to the tents, access by foot only on inclined, undulated short walk. Assistance with bags on arrival and departure with notification of arrival time. Drinking water provided. Towels not included.
