We have a lovely stay at the lanterns. The hosts were very accommodating and ensured we had all we needed to make our holiday comfortable and enjoyable. Rye is a short drive away and there are pubs within walking distance.

A nice property and ideal for getting in and around Rye and the local area. Not one for spending loads of time in but you can easily spend an evening or two in chilling. Couple of things to be aware of: 1. It is close to both a road (noise did not bother us) and the owner's house so if you want maximum privacy this is not for you. 2. For a holiday cottage the kitchen was excellently stocked with pans and other things.

Perfect location, owners very helpful with information and available if needed. Cottage has everything you could imagine for cooking /walking/dogs. We had a nice little break and plenty of places to take our puppy to help with his training.

The cottage was beautifully equipped and the hosts very welcoming. Lots to do in the area with lots of good dog walking. Very nice pub and tea room places also, many dog friendly. The only problem for us was the settees which we found uncomfortable.
