Situated on the edge of Kendal, a historic market town famous for its mint cake, the location is perfect to tour the Lake District (Windermere 9 miles) and Yorkshire Dales (Sedbergh 9 miles). Water sports or cruises on the lakes, mountain climbing in the Langdales and coastal walks on the Cumbrian Coastal Way are just a few of the many activities to be enjoyed in the area. There is a plethora of historic houses and gardens with Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and Cartmel 12th-century priory all a short drive away. Shops 1 mile, pub 500 yards.

    A lovely little cottage finished to a very high standard very conveniently located near to the A6 and Kendal town centre. Due to being in the middle of two very busy roads there is a lot of traffic noise if you are outside but the double glazing keeps the noise out when you're in the cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery and other kitchenware but there are no other basic provisions provided (other than a washing up sponge and a couple of dishwasher tablets) so you will need to make sure you bring your own provisions if you want to have a cuppa when you arrive.
