Lane End is in a perfect location for exploring North Somerset and south Wales, with something for all ages.

Lane End is a detached holiday bungalow with uninterrupted sea views overlooking the Bristol Channel towards the hills and mountains of south Wales. The bungalow is set in its own private gardens, a peaceful setting from which to enjoy the spectacular sea scape sunsets. It provides an ideal base from which to explore the North Somerset coast including the towns of Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon and Portishead. For the keen walker Clevedon and Portishead can be reached via the coastal footpath, which is only a 2 minute walk away from the bungalow. Alternatively, inland attractions include Cheddar and Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves and the great and historic cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. Lane End is also in easy reach of the M5 and M4 motorways, which means south Wales, Cardiff, Newport and the historic border town of Chepstow, the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley are all less than an hour’s drive away. Please note the allocated parking space is a few minutes walk away from the property, via a steep uneven path (which may be slippery when wet). Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

3 steps to property. All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin (2ft 6in). Wet room with shower and toilet.

Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot on request. Freeview TV. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and furniture. Barbecue. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: Steps in garden. Steep path from parking area. Small, wire-covered, shallow pond in garden, hidden by bushes.

Hi we had a very chilled out few days at this lovely homely quiet secluded cottage . We were lucky to have great weather so spent most of the time out in the lovely garden. Our dog loved exploring in it. The views were fantastic loved to watch the boats going by. Loved all the extras that were left for us tea coffee milk biscuits everything had been thought off. We didn't find the access a problem to the cottage it was only a few steps down the slope but can imagine it would be slippy in the winter. Maybe a rail to hold on too as you go down. Walked both ways along the coastal path . Found a lovely bay called ladye bay you could walk too and it would probably take 40 minutes but was too hot for our dog so we drove there each day plenty of parking too and very dog friendly. The owners were very helpful and e.mailed us the easiest route to get there and we found it very easy. Plenty of shops to choose from . We went to Tesco and Aldi. Thank you for a great holiday and we hope to come back soon Mandy and Andy and Max

A superb place to stay - very private, a very quiet area, and a STUNNING 180 degree view over the Bristol channel. The property also had everything we could possibly want, and permitted dogs.

Perfect holiday home in a superb location . Loved the sea views from the front room and the garden was a bonus . With 2 dogs it’s not always possible to find a perfect place but Lane End was great with a safe secure garden which was vital with dogs. Only drawback for some would be the oathfrom car space which is very dark late in the evening and we did need to use a torch one evening but otherwise super we will definitely book again .

Had a lovely relaxing time, great views, not over looked, very clean and comfortable and very well stocked with the hosts leaving some milk and biscuits to welcome us. Would love to go again.

Enjoyed a 4 night break. Enjoyed the stunning views out of living room window. Tesco 5 minute drive away. Weather challengeing some days, but we made the most of it. Games for children to play. Would have got BBQ going if weather was better. Would definitely come again. Very well equipped cottage. All it needs is a hot tub to sit in and enjoy the view with a drink in your hand.
