Lovely cottage with hot tub and lake view. Well equipped and clean. Didn't realise there were other cottages and a house on the same complex but did not detract from holiday; but I don't think it says that in the cottage information.

4 friends sharing the cottage. We loved the space, layout and the hot tub - although the hot tub definitely suits 2 or 3 people better.

Lakeview is a beautiful barn conversion in a peaceful location. Everything catered for with a welcome hamper on arrival which was perfect. The hot tub was very well used! We would love to go back probably without our dog as we were limited with days out although she loved her long walks. Highly recommend, Annika was easy to contact before and during our stay giving us info on local restaurants. If you want peace and quiet in a great location this us the place for you.

A lovely place. So comfortable and quiet. Hot tub is fantastic. We loved the relaxing surroundings. The barn was decorated lovely for Christmas, and the hamper was such a welcome surprise. Owner is easy to contact with any queries. Just a small thing, be careful of the road in, it has lots of potholes.

We stayed at Lake View in early November and could not have wished for a nicer place to stay. The Barn conversion was beautiful and with such features as underfloor heating and a massive television, the owners really have made the effort to make the place feel very luxurious! The best testimony we can give is that we are looking forward to booking to go back next year.

Lakeview is beautiful and in an idilic, rural location so it's very relaxing. The driveway to it is very rough and it is quite remote so you need to drive to get to shops/restaraunts, pubs etc. Everything in the barn is lovely and to a high specification and there's everything you could possibly need. We did have a small problem with a boiler leaking in the utility room, which didn't affect our holiday, but this was sorted out quickly by the owner. Lakeview is dog friendly but one of my small Bichon's did manage to get under the fence at the bottom of the garden so keep an eye on small dogs! The 'welcome' pack was a very nice touch and much appreciated after a long journey. A lovely place to spend a holiday!
