This charming stone-built holiday home, with private outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioning, is a peaceful haven in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne. Dating back to the 18th century, the owners have completely restored the building and converted it into a lovely holiday home for the whole family. In the main building, the ground floor offers one double bedroom with its own bathroom. Upstairs, a bedroom with twin beds turns into a bedroom for four, with two pull-out beds for children. Also on the first floor is a spacious attic bedroom which boasts a large seating area. An annexe in the grounds, near the swimming pool, offers a large room with two double beds, a sofa bed, a shower cubicle and separate toilet. Enjoy meals al fresco on the terrace. There are many activities available in the nearby area including horse riding, hiking, cycling, and tennis. Visit the fortified town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and enjoy the many summer activities it offers. Villeneuve-sur-Lot was founded in 1253 by Alphonse de Poitiers, to serve as a base for the fortresses in the Haut-Agenais. It was one of the largest and most powerful fortified towns in France.
