The house is located on a quiet no through road, and enjoys a very spacious, warm and cosy interior that can comfortably accommodate ten people. The cottage offers a lovely terrace with a large garden and private outdoor swimming pool, which can be accessed directly from the second floor landing via an external staircase. With no less than nineteen beaches, Marseille is the ideal city for a relaxing break away in the sun. Enjoy hiking around these spectacular coves, or take part in the many water sports available including sailing, jet skiing and kayaking. Keen golfers will enjoy the 9-hole Borély golf course whilst admiring the breathtaking views of the sea and the Château d’If.
Do not miss a visit to the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde but also the beautiful Palais du Pharo, built by Napoleon. Head to the Panier District to stroll down the old narrow streets and experience the traditional Provençal atmosphere. Continue to the Old Port to find excellent restaurants whose speciality is the famous Bouillabaisse, but you can also indulge in other traditional dishes such as aioli, soup with pesto or a glass of pastis. The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations and the Museum of Contemporary Art will provide interesting days out for the whole family. In Aix-en-Provence, find luxury boutiques and small cafés in the shade of plane trees on the splendid Cours Mirabeau. For music and art lovers, the festival of lyrical arts, and the exhibitions throughout the year at Caumont Centre d’Art, are worth a visit. Beach 2.2km. Shop 1km, restaurant 800m.
