Peacefully located and enjoying both a very private swimming pool and panoramic views, including the Mediterranean Sea in the distance, this charming, detached holiday villa is well equipped and tastefully furnished. Between the two lovely villages of Spéracèdes and Cabris, it is ideally placed to enjoy some of the best Riviera attractions within a short drive. Cabris village occupies a magnificent site on the edge of the Provençal plateau, looking out over the perfume capital of Grasse’s countryside to the Saint Cassien lake and the sea. The cool air of the Grotte des Audides makes it refreshing to visit in summer. The village and its neighbourhood have long been a favourite haunt of writers and artists. Stroll along the palm tree-lined seaside Boulevard-de-la-Croisette in Cannes or the delightful Promenade des Anglais in Nice. Visit the arts and crafts villages of Saint Paul and Vence, and Monaco and enjoy an al fresco meal in the evening admiring the views and appreciating the tranquillity.

Approximate distance to Nice airport is 42 km.

The property is certainly quaint, picturesque and in a nice area. We enjoyed our stay. However, there are a number of issues that we need to raise. On our arrival the property was not clean. We suspect that it had been cleaned when last used, although there were hairs in shower, but as it had been empty before our arrival a layer of dust had settled, so it had clearly not been cleaned before our arrival. Consequently we had to go around cleaning certain areas before we could un pack and use the kitchen and bathrooms. The property gives the impression that it’s previous elderly occupants have just moved out. This might add to its quaintness but it also causes some issues. Certain areas such as the bathrooms are very very tired and in need of updating. In particular, the kitchen and it’s cupboards are absolutely full of clutter, a lifetimes worth of old appliances but yet nothing of any use to a holiday maker. No sharp knives, no kettle, no (usable) chopping board, no barbecue utensils, only 1 mug and so on. No one has stopped to think what a family on holiday might actually need and equip appropriately. As I say, it is as if an elderly couple have simply moved out, yet we were led to believe this property had been on your books for some time, which if true we are surprised that no one has raised or addressed these issues before. We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been better if the owner put a some effort, at little cost, into making the property a holiday let rather than just making a former home available for rent.
