We stayed in autumn and found one stove was broken. We were not advised we had to provide fuel there was only enough to last an hour. It was a significant drive to supermarket next morning to buy some. The three piece suite in the lounge was in need of replacing.

Cottage was a little tired and in need of some tlc. Lots of dust and cobwebs, wood burners still full of ash from previous occupants and fresh foodstuff left in the cupboard no longer very fresh! After giving everywhere a good clean, we settled in well. Location great for dog walking - off his lead from the door. Great location for exploring the WW1 battlefields and memorials. Would go and stay again but hope it had been spruced up or certainly cleaned next time.
