An excellent stay in this beautiful house. Lots of room for everyone with plenty of bathrooms and endless hot water. Set in the middle of a small village it is surrounded by local shops (the nearby patisserie and chocolatier being a must) and a short stroll from a bar. The house was perfectly clean and had a large, well equipped kitchen. Some of the furniture was a little worn but this added to the homely feel of the house. One small note is that the local restaurant is open lunchtimes only. We loved staying at Maison du Donjon and would love to book again but have since noticed that the house is up for sale.
