The detached lodge is in an elevated position overlooking 5 acres of parkland at Bryn Tanat Hall (ref UK6216), near enough if you are with a party in the hall, but secluded enough to enjoy complete privacy. The décor and fittings have been carefully chosen to preserve the spirit of the setting and contemporary construction, with a cosy wood burner, bespoke artisan beds, underfloor heating and designer furniture. There is also a fully fitted kitchen, complete with American style fridge/freezer. The lodge sleeps eight people in four en-suite bedrooms, but the atmosphere within is intimate for romantic breaks for couples. If you do fancy fishing, the River Tanat is slow flowing for fly fishing, and for a small charge you can hire the Weber barbecue. And there’s also a Wellness Spa offering a range of spa treatments.
Kowloon Park is fortunate in its location, being on the mid Wales and Shropshire border, it is surrounded by breathtaking countryside and is conveniently located for several famous tourist attractions. For the sporting enthusiast, there is so much choice depending on your interests, and attractions aplenty for all the family. Oswestry Iron Age Hill Fort is just 10 minutes away and Pistyll Rhaeadr is 20 minutes. Powis Castle, Erddig and Attingham Park are 25 minutes away, whilst Chirk Castle is 30 minutes and Llangollen Bridge, 35 minutes.
