We again enjoyed a very pleasant 2 weeks at Meadow Barn. The views and garden are lovely and the owners, Philip and Pauline very nice and accommodating. We would look forward to a return visit.

A lovely place to stay, it has all the comforts of home. Beautiful gardens surround the barn. A car is a must to get out and about. Lots of wild life to watch and then there is the live stock on site to visit! Within a couple of miles are a garage, complete with shop that sells just about everything and also a village pub with real home cooked food.

We had a lovely week and Meadow Barn. The accommodation was finished to a high standard and there was plenty of room for my husband to get around with a walking frame. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The cottage has beautiful views over the mature garden, farmland and hills. We would be delighted to return.

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation with a beautiful garden and fields beyond. The owners live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with many orchards. Lots of charming villages with traditional white and black buildings.

This was easily the best self catering property we have ever stayed in. Every little comfort was thought of and the views from the living room and garden were breathtaking. We alone had four different sets of garden furniture although we spent most of our time on the terrace surrounded by beautiful flowers. The large grounds were impeccible and beautifully tended. The kitchen was very well equipped, we needn't have taken anything ourselves. The lounge was comfy and spaceous, the bedroom was perfect with a dressing table, so a definite plus point, and the en-suite bathroom had a large shower. Our hosts were so welcoming and Pauline's craft cabin was a joy to discover. It was lovely to sit on the terrace and watch the farmer transporting his bales of hay along the lane at the end of the garden, he greeted us with a wave each time. The property easily deserves 10 out of 10 but I have taken off a point simply because we found the bed unbelievably hard, we ended up sleeping on top of our duvet although this didn't help a lot. I know a lot of people like a hard mattress but this was the hardest one we've ever slept on so I had a few restless nights trying to get comfy. The area is lovely, Hereford is well worth a visit, also Monmouth, Brecon and further afield is Malvern with a stunning town and countryside. We would definitely return to Meadow Barn.
