The Kinvara Suites are situated within a converted 18th-century stone hayloft. They are set back from the road in a secluded garden in the centre of the picturesque town of Kinvara at the head of Galway Bay, and 2 minutes’ walk from the quayside. An external staircase leads to the two suites, each have a south facing balcony, offering views of the countryside and the nearby Burren National Park. Each suite retains the uninterrupted form of the original hayloft, with quirky windows located within the existing opening. On the second floor, the pitched roof has been raised to form a high vaulted ceiling, and a strip of window runs around all four sides allowing the sun to glance in at all times of the day.
Kinvara Suites are in the heart of the village yet still secluded in a quiet, private garden. It is an ideal location for touring The Burren, Connemara and Galway as far as the Shannon River. There are country walks and sandy beaches nearby, and the area is renowned for seafood, especially oysters. East Galway boasts nine golf courses, and for surfers some of the best surfing in the world can be found at Fanore Beach. This is an ideal holiday spot for a couple and makes the perfect hideaway if you want to escape and chill for a week or two. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Approximate distance to Shannon Airport is 62.5 km.

Lovely bright and airy. Compact but has everything you need. Lovely welcome from Danielle. The village of kinvara makes a great base for touring Ireland. Easy access to Galway, Ennis and Limerick. Close by are the Cliffs of Mohr, The Burren National Park, longer drive to Conamara national park, but well worth it views from upper Diamond Hill are stunning. For father Ted fans the house is close by and you can have afternoon tea there by prior arrangement. The Londis shop in the village is amazing especially their sandwich bar and VERY cheap Mr Whippy ice creams. Lots of lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes. Everyone is extremely friendly.

We stayed here for a week, it was a perfect base to explore the West coast. The apartment was clean, well presented and modern, and the bed was huge and very comfortable! Communication with the owner was straightforward and there were no issues at all; it was a little tricky to find the apartment when we initially arrived, but a simple phone call sorted this! The apartment is situated back from the main road so it was peaceful with no noise (but also why it was a little hard to find at first). The kitchen was small but was handy for being able to buy in a few breakfast bits etc, with a fridge, hob and microwave oven. There is no television which we were more than happy with but may not appeal so much to others; there was wi-fi and this seemed fairly fast. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. The village of Kinvara is lovely, with plenty of pubs to choose from. Galway is a 30 minute drive north, and the Cliffs of Moher were about an hour's drive south. We would most certainly come back here again!
