A charming, warm, spacious cottage with everything you could need supplied. Even milk, tea, coffee and mince pies on arrival (we went mid December). I would recommend bringing a car as there isn't a huge amount in walking distance. But very short drive to Keswick, the town with plenty of shops and bars. Plus so many walks close by, including Mount Skiddaw, which overlooks the cottage. Quite a steep climb, but worth it!! The owners were so friendly and helpful and we have recommended to all our friends! The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, a romantic, cosy, quiet, walking holiday. Delightful!

Beautiful little cottage. Very clean! Lovely little personal touches i.e. chocolates on pillows, milk in the fridge. And.... the whole family saw the resident red squirrel!

This lovely cosy cottage was well equipped and the perfect base for some beautiful walks. Therasa gave us lots of good advice on the local area and we returned home each night to lots of hot water and a comfortable warm house to relax in. Many thanks.

Had a lovely weekend at the cottage, despite the weather. The cottage was very homely, clean and very warm. Only 10 minute drive from Keswick too which was a bonus.

Lovely homely stay at Kiln Cottage, very clean, comfortable & well equipped cottage with friendly owners. Location ideal, easy reach with own transport to Keswick and other tourist areas but situated on outskirts of a village giving you a wonderful relaxed break. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon
