We hav had a wonderful week and we loved this location. We felt like we really had a break and chilled out. We were so lucky with the weather. We loved watching the fishing boats, the view, the sun sets, the stars of a clear night. Thanks for a great cottage which thought of everything.

Wonderful home. The weather was unusually hot so would have liked screens on the doors or windows so we could get some air without the flies coming in but apart from that we have no complaints. Chair in one bedroom was broken when we arrived but didn’t need it. Very functional and compact kitchen.

This cottage is stunning in an amazing location. There is only one shop in the village but it’s open 7days and has all you need. WiFi and phone signal is a big hit and miss, but I will definitely go back

We loved it. The house was absolutely beautiful and the views tremendous. They thought of everything even hot water bottles! It was lovely and warm but got a little cool in the afternoon and we are 2 old dears who didn’t know how to use the wood burner! It was early January and the weather was horrible but we loved the ruggedness of the sea and the wind. We didn’t want to leave. I would love to come again, perhaps when it’s a little warmer weather wise.

Had a very relaxing stay at Killantrae Burn, only thing that disappointed us was that the windows overlooking the shore were dirty, the owner had pointed out the difficulty in keeping them clean but I would have expected them to have been cleaned for new arrivals. Having said that we would certainly go back.

We had a fantastic time at Killantrae Burn 4. The children (4 & 5) absolutely loved it! They were completely bemused by the fact that the bedrooms were downstairs. The back garden was wonderful and practically landscaped for being right by the sea. The accommodation was great, the huge picture window gave fantastic views of the bay and we spent hours just watching the sea and weather. The beds were really comfy and we all slept really well. The village was very quiet and all the people were really friendly. We found the best beaches to be on the other side of the bay, definitely worth travelling a little way for. We would highly recommend Killantrae Burn and we have already discussed returning ourselves.
