There were a few disappointing aspects affecting value for money : the pool was being refurbished so out of action. (No work was carried out on it during our stay). This had been an important factor in booking and there was no time to reschedule the holiday for us, although it was offered. The outside facilities -sports hall and play room ; a gym were ok but the cottage itself needed serious updating on bathrooms, furnishings in bedrooms and lounge and accessories. A TV was advertised as being in the master bedroom but was missing, as was the iron. The table mats simply needed throwing away. I asked about the TV but no-one came back to me about it. There was no hot water in the afternoons - again no explanation. There was no fire notice displayed anywhere in the cottage. The cottage is in a wonderful setting with lovely sea views but until the updating is done, unfortunately I couldn’t recommend it.
