Overall an excellent cottage. Great location for us. The cottage is well decorated and well equipped with plenty of space for 6 people and lots of storage. A couple of niggles though - we found the cottage quite cold (fairly seasonal weather in early April), I think it must have been unoccupied for a few weeks prior and had had the heating off as it did get more comfortable as the week progressed (obviously it is an old cottage, with mainly single glazing, mainly stable-style doors etc, so this all contributes). We also found the door to the kitchen impossible to lock from the outside so had to use the other door throughout the holiday. The shower also lacked power so we stuck to baths!

Our break was for the two of us to enjoy togetherness, peace & relaxation and we got that and more. When we arrived it was special and it got better & better. In the kitchen ready for us to use were bread, eggs, marmalade, milk, butter and a stunning home-made fruit cake which was delicious along with home-made lemonade which was so refreshing. The cottage has one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms with a kitchen, dining room and lounge which were all surprisingly large with plenty of space. There is a downstairs toilet for you to leave your comments on the wall which was very quirky and an upstairs bathroom with an over bath shower. Logs were ready for us to light an open fire and the cottage had a warm cosy homely feel. There was nothing we needed and all the utensils were catered for. We only stayed for 4 nights and wish we had booked more. The over bath shower was not that powerful but this would never stop us from staying here again. We loved what Keepers Cottage had to offer us and will definitely be returning. If you have children, they may love seeing the horses, donkeys, goats and other farmyard animals from the adjacent farm. There is wifi, books, games, dvd's and cd's available for your enjoyment. The attention to detail was clearly evident in the presentation. The location is good for visiting King's Lynn and the North Norfolk coastline around The Wash. Thank you to the owners as we came away with plenty of memories from a wonderful stay in your property.

We've stayed here before and it's always wonderful. It is so peaceful here. Bill and Rachael the owners are so welcoming. If you're a horse owner it's fantastic. Meals at The Stag just cple miles away West Acre are out of this world and really welcoming

Perfect Rural home from home. Striking distance to the coast and family. Kids and Dogs loved the space. And my children fell in love with the Horse, Donkeys and Goats. It’s a great quiet location to unwind and rest.
