Other on-site facilities include two hard tennis courts, canoe hire, bike hire, children’s play areas, football nets, the restaurant Ballihoo, and so much more, boredom is not an option. Lower Mill Estate also has an on-site general store and a restaurant/bar.
The wonderful countryside of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, such as Cheltenham, Bath, Oxford and beyond are all within easy reach - making Lower Mill Estate an ideal spot for exploring and adventure. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The cottage and sporting facilities were excellent. The owner had thought of everything and the cottage was very well equipped with very comfortable beds, which was a very big plus for me. Wine, milk, cakes, tea and coffee were all provided for us which meant we didn't have to shop immediately on arrival on Friday evening. The site was wonderful with tennis courts, swimming pools, a spa and nature walks and of course it was surrounded by lakes. The only minus for us was the "general store" which was tiny and poorly stocked. We ordered newspapers on the first day but not a single one appeared. There were very few of the items advertised so we had to go to the supermarket for everything and this was a fair distance away. It could be because it was low season but early June is surely holiday time. Apart from that it was a lovely holiday and we would highly recommend the cottage and the location.
