Despite the challenging weather we enjoyed a relaxing few days with plenty of opportunities to explore the countryside.

Cottage is in a fantastic location and much larger than the photos suggest. We recently use the cottage for a family holiday with an easy commutable distance to Stirling and surrounding areas. Inside is made up to a very high standard with a lovely warming stove perfect for those cold winters night. Would happily stay again!

Great wee cottage with everything you need including dog bowls if you forget your own. Remote but within easy distance of local amenities. Owners helpful and able to provide any necessary extras. Absolutely no qualms in recommending this cottage for a break for anyone with a pet. 😀

Cottage really lovely and very comfortable, beautiful situation but the rough, potholed track which was nearly a mile long leading up to it was terrible especially for us as we were driving our new sports car which was not suitable for those conditions. Plenty to do in the area, good walks and excellent cycle paths.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; These guests were a lovely couple who I spoke to regularly during their stay. While the farm track is and always will be bumpy, the recent weather with torrential rains have had a detrimental affect on the track and we are very aware of this. Additional materials have been delivered and repairs & maintenance will be carried out as soon as the weather allows. Having discussed this and general pleasantries during their stay, I’m disappointed with the score of 4 out of 10 considering everything else was “really lovely, very comfortable and beautiful”.
