Brimming with character, this charming mid-terraced cottage is peacefully set above the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog and is within easy walking distance of the town’s amenities including shops, eateries and indoor swimming pool. The famous narrow gauge railway that winds its way through the magnificent Vale of Ffestiniog to the pretty harbour town of Porthmadog is also nearby. There you can change onto the Welsh Highland Railway for a breathtaking journey deep into the Snowdonia National Park and on to Caernarfon with its magnificent castle.
The town is also home to one of the area’s most exciting visitor attractions, Zip World Titan, the first four-person zip wire in Europe! Visit Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (trampolines in the slate caverns), or take an underground tour of the former slate mining caverns. Also based at Llechwedd are the mountain bike trails of Antur Stiniog, which range from blue to black grades. The area is wonderful for walking, and Jude Cottage makes a great base from which to explore Snowdonia, your beloved dog is welcome and will love it too (sorry no cats). Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
