We had a fantastic week in Jessamy and would definitely recommend. It was very welcoming, clean and comfortable with beautiful views from the veranda and gardens. My only recommendation which is easily resolved is the veranda could do with a brush. Even if there was a broom there I would have happily done it myself. It was perfect for our family and also dog friendly which is a bonus.

Cottage has spacious living area and is overall comfortable although we left after breakfast to walk arriving back at 4/5pm for cups of tea before going out in the evening to dine, so we did not use all the facilities. The cottage has a large balcony from the main bedroom giving a wonderful view across the lake and the dining room has a well designed patio on which we sat having a cup of tea at the end of the day. Great shame that neither of these areas appear to be on the cleaners itinerary. Certainly would visit again and would be love to see a brush has visited the outside areas.

We had a lovely stay here, the location is superb, literally a few mins walk to the center of Bowness. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon in the cottage, the fridge freezer is tiny! We struggled to get all our food in for just the 3 of us for 1 weekend, so if you were a family of 4/5 staying longer and wanted to self cater then forget it. The cottage could do with being updated, it's very dark in there as not much natural light and with dark furnishings it made it even worse, the carpet on the stairs was also threadbare in parts. Little things like no soap dish holder in the shower or shelf so everything had to go on the floor, nothing to put toothbrushes in either. Parking is a bit of a nightmare too, you have to reverse down a long and very narrow lane which can take a while. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend as it was clean and a perfect location.
